DNVN - On May 11, at the Vietnam Game Festival (Gameverse) 2024, VNG and Roblox officially announced the cooperation between the two sides in the Vietnamese market.
Accordingly, VNG will become the official publisher of Roblox - a famous online gaming and virtual world building platform in the Vietnamese market. Roblox is expected to be officially released in Vietnam this summer on iOS and Android platforms.

According to Mr. La Xuan Thang, Director of Online Game Publishing, VNG Corporation, Roblox is a game creation platform that attracts millions of users around the world, including Vietnam. The cooperation between VNG and Roblox is in line with Roblox's global community standards and will bring the best experiences to Vietnamese users.
VNG will become the official publisher of Roblox.
In addition, VNG will work with Roblox to build a creative community and develop games on this platform to promote the trend of software programming among young people. We believe that this cooperation is an important milestone showing that the Vietnamese market is an attractive destination for leading game businesses in the world, like Roblox.
With market advantages, the gaming industry is determined to become a key sector to help Vietnam's economy develop rapidly. According to statistics, in Vietnam alone, official figures show that the gaming industry is growing rapidly with revenue exceeding the 500 million USD mark, ranking 5th in Southeast Asia. The number of people accessing entertainment with the gaming industry accounts for more than half of Vietnam's population.
Also according to information from VNG, the company will accompany GameHub in the role of Advisory Council. GameHub - a program to search and call for investment in potential game projects is also one of the new highlights of this year's event.
Participating as a jury with Google and Meta, VNG will accompany GameHub in evaluating expertise, providing specific advice on directions and roadmaps for units to perfect and develop products.
