Ranieri continues to thrive with Roma.

On the morning of March 30, the "Giallorossi" continued their impressive form with their 7th consecutive victory in Serie A against Lecce, thereby maintaining their hope of qualifying for next season's Champions League. In the match at Lecce's Stadio Via del Mare, Roma missed a series of scoring opportunities.

However, Artem Dovbyk managed to shine with the decisive goal in the 80th minute, bringing all three points to Roma. "We have to keep believing until the end. It was a difficult match, but the whole team was very focused from the start," Ranieri told Sky Sport after the match.

“We missed two easy chances and then lost the ball stupidly in our own half, allowing the opposition to counter-attack. It was important to win against a team fighting relegation – these games are often difficult at the end of the season,” he added.

When asked about his future after this season, Ranieri responded with humor about why he needs to return to retirement.

“Thank you, but I went into the dressing room and told the players: 'How dare you, you are trying to send me to an early grave!' Luckily I had a full heart check!” - The Italian coach joked about Roma's squandering of a chance that almost cost his team.

The victory in round 30 helped Roma maintain their 6th place in the rankings, only 4 points away from the Champions League group. Since the return of "The Welder", Roma has been one of the most impressive teams in Serie A. Therefore, many Roma fans hope that Ranieri will continue to lead this club next season. However, at the age of 73, Ranieri is leaning towards the possibility of retiring.
