In Hue City, speaking with Giao Thong Newspaper reporters, the leader of the Department of Transport said that the high-speed railway line will arrange 23 passenger stations according to the principle of being suitable with the current situation and development planning of the locality.
The route is located in the economic and political center of the localities, approaching the urban center, the planning area has the potential to create new development space, effectively exploit land resources, ensure good connectivity with the public transport system and effectively exploit infrastructure and vehicles.
To seize the opportunity, Hue City People's Committee has planned Hue station located in Phu My commune, Phu Vang district in the planning projects and has been approved.
Notably, according to the Department of Transport of Hue City, the station location in Phu My commune, Phu Vang district is mainly agricultural land and cemetery land, which is very convenient for planning land for TOD development (urban area based on public transport), with a planned and current traffic system ensuring connection with the center of Hue City and satellite centers of Hue City.

"Investing in such a high-speed railway will help Hue have the opportunity to renovate the urban area, create jobs, and create new space for development," the leader of the Department of Transport of Thua Thien Hue province emphasized.
