Quang Ninh earns nearly 900 billion VND from tourism during 3-day holiday

Information from the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh province said that during the 3-day holiday (from August 31 to September 2), the total number of tourists to tourist attractions in localities throughout Quang Ninh province is estimated at 384,000, equal to 120% compared to the same period in 2023.

Of which, the total number of guests staying is estimated at about 149,000 (113% compared to the same period in 2023). International visitors are about 22,000 (116% compared to the same period in 2023). Total tourism revenue is estimated at 870 billion VND, equal to 130% compared to the same period in 2023.

On September 2 alone, there were about 95,000 tourists visiting tourist attractions in localities of Quang Ninh province. Of which, the total number of overnight guests is estimated at about 39,000. International visitors reached 6,858. Total tourism revenue is estimated at 219 billion VND, equal to 121% compared to the same period in 2023.
