Quang Nam launches 20-day peak period to complete digitization of household registration books

The launch of the peak period is determined to complete the task of digitizing civil status data in Quang Nam province on schedule as committed by the Provincial People's Committee to the Working Group implementing Project 06 of the Government.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Director of the Department of Justice, the Chairman of the District People's Committee, and the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee to resolutely direct and implement the "20-day peak period to complete the digitization of the Household Registration Book".

The Department of Justice shall preside over and organize the implementation of the peak period to ensure the completion of the digitization of household registration books in the province before March 12, 2025. Assign tasks to monitor and closely follow the progress to urge, guide, and remove difficulties in the process of digitization. Summarize and report to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation results immediately after the end of the peak period.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee resolutely directs the Commune People's Committee to digitize household registration books; regularly urges, inspects and is responsible to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the progress and time of performing the task of digitizing household registration books in the locality. Directs the Department of Culture and Information to assign staff with information technology qualifications to support the Commune People's Committee to implement digitization on schedule.

The Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level directly directs and urges; the Justice - Civil Status Officer at the commune level presides over the digitization of civil status books in the locality; recruits and mobilizes cadres and civil servants of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Farmers' Association, Youth Union, Women's Union... to support the implementation of local tasks during the peak period.

The Chairman of the People's Committee at the commune level is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the digitized civil status data at the unit according to the instructions of the Department of Justice, Ministry of Justice.

According to the assessment, Quang Nam is currently one of 6 provinces that have not completed the digitization of household registration books (at a low rate of about 45%), in which many localities have not been resolute in directing the implementation, the completion rate is very low, greatly affecting the progress of digitizing household registration books of the whole province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that units and localities that failed to complete the assigned tasks on schedule must report and clarify personal responsibilities in direction and implementation, and take responsibility as leaders for not completing assigned tasks.
