The Department of Planning and Investment is assigned to preside over and urgently advise on growth scenarios as required in Resolution No. 25 of the Government; take full responsibility before the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the content of the province's growth scenario.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the report content must be specific and clear, not general; review and develop growth scenarios for each quarter, propose specific, breakthrough, feasible and effective solutions for industries, fields and products in the province to serve the leadership, direction and administration, ensuring the GRDP growth target in 2025 reaches at least 10%.
The growth scenario must be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee before 10:00 a.m. on February 18, 2025 to promptly report to the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee for comments.
Departments and branches: Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, Transport, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Information and Communications, Science and Technology, Home Affairs, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province, Tax Department, Statistics Department, Customs Department, State Bank of Vietnam, Quang Nam branch are responsible for reporting the current situation and proposing specific solutions of their branches (quarterly, specific, breakthrough, feasible and effective solutions) to build the general growth scenario of the province.
In particular, the Provincial Statistics Office is responsible for analyzing and forecasting indicators in building growth scenarios. The sectors: Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Industry and Trade, Culture, Sports and Tourism must develop detailed plans for their sectors' growth rates and specific solutions to achieve that growth rate, not general reports.
Departments and branches must send the content to the Department of Planning and Investment before 10:00 a.m. on February 17, 2025; take full responsibility before the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for the content and data of the report.
The Office of the Provincial People's Committee is responsible for closely coordinating with the Department of Planning and Investment to advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on growth scenarios according to the requirements of Resolution No. 25 of the Government to ensure compliance with regulations.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests the above-mentioned departments and branches to seriously implement; take responsibility before the Provincial People's Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee if there is delay or if the report is general, unclear and does not meet requirements.
