On the morning of February 15, Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, and the working delegation inspected projects that were behind schedule, slow to put into use, inefficiently used land, causing waste in Tien Phuoc district.
Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and the working delegation inspected investment projects such as: Flood avoidance road project connecting Tien Ky inner city with National Highway 40B; Central Region Linking Road project through Tien Phong, Tien My, Tien Canh and Tien Ky communes, etc.
The Flood Avoidance Road Project connecting Tien Ky inner city with National Highway 40B has a total investment of nearly 49.9 billion VND, of which the provincial budget is 29 billion VND. The implementation period is from 2019-2021. Currently, the project has expired, Tien Phuoc district has asked the Provincial People's Committee to extend it for the second time, but so far there has been no agreement. The project has 42 affected households, of which 6 households must be resettled. Up to now, there are still some households that have not agreed to receive money and hand over the land. Particularly for the 6 households that have been cleared, there is still no resettlement land fund to arrange.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Nam Hung agreed to continue extending the project.
For the Central Region Linking Road project, the project is invested by the Quang Nam Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, Tien Phuoc district is carrying out site clearance (GPMB). Up to now, the compensation and GPMB plan has been approved with a total value of 97.9 billion VND, reaching about 70% of the total volume of the entire route. Tien Phuoc district commits to hand over the site of the Tien Phong - Tien My section before April 30, and complete the approved compensation plan for the two resettlement areas of Tien Hiep and Tien Canh before May 30.
Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized: compensation and site clearance work requires the synchronous participation of the entire political system. Officials must be determined, impartial and for the benefit of the people. Tien Phuoc district needs to review the process of mobilizing people in project areas, making the most of policies and guidelines so that people support the project. Continue to speed up site clearance to speed up construction progress, avoiding delays that lead to waste.
Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet also acknowledged and directed the resolution of many difficulties and problems of a number of slow-progressing projects in the area, including the Phuoc An New Urban Area Real Estate Development Project, Tien Ky Town; Xai Mua Dam Project, Tien Lanh Commune; Project to Promote the Value of the Huynh Thuc Khang Memorial House; Ho Khe Lake Project, Tien Lanh Commune, Suoi Tho Lake, Tien Phong Commune. These are projects invested by the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Agricultural Works and Rural Development of Quang Nam Province, and Tien Phuoc District carries out the site clearance work.
