“Good Morning Vietnam” is a meaningful international music project of Nhan Dan Newspaper and IB Group, with the goal of bringing top international music to Vietnam, while promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism.
In October 2024, the Bond Live In Vietnam program brought more than 3,000 audiences at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) a sublime musical feast. Applause continuously rang out in the auditorium as traditional culture and Vietnamese landscapes blended into world-famous musical pieces.
In October 2024, the Bond Live In Vietnam program brought more than 3,000 audiences at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) a sublime music party.
Immediately after the show, the four members of the band went to Quang Ninh and filmed the MV “Victory-Bond in Vietnam” in Ha Long Bay, on offshore islands. In the MV, the four Bond girls wore traditional Vietnamese ao dai, performing the classic song “Victory” on the sea, bringing the audience attractive images and sounds.
“This MV brings great value to Vietnam’s tourism industry in general and Quang Ninh tourism in particular. I believe that after this MV is released, the number of Vietnamese and international tourists to Ha Long will increase,” said Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee.
On the background music of “Victory”, familiar images of Quang Ninh such as: the life of fishermen in fishing villages, Trong Mai islet, Oan sandbank... appear enchantingly. In particular, the MV has rare scenes of Ha Long Bay at Mat Rong island, one of the places that is still quite unfamiliar to tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Thuy Duong, Chairman of IB Group said: “Dragon Eye Island has a very beautiful setting, is preserved quite intact and is jokingly called “inviolable”. To film the scene here, the crew set up a floating stage. In the condition of ensuring the environment and natural ecosystem, transporting dozens of tons of equipment is extremely difficult”. However, the program crew carefully calculated, raced against time, and overcame all obstacles in weather and terrain to make the MV.
Collaborating with world-famous artists to spread the world's top music to Vietnam and promote Vietnamese culture and tourism to international friends is a very different way of doing things for Nhan Dan Newspaper and related units. Mr. Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association said that promoting the country and people through music videos is a very effective way, with only moderate costs but the image of the country and people of Vietnam has the opportunity to reach a large global audience.
The first result the crew received was recognition from the Bond band itself. The girls could not help but admire and exclaim at the majestic beauty of Ha Long Bay. Director Phu Tran shared: In addition to Dragon Eye Island, at Oan sandbank, when filming ended, the Bond group proposed to film one more scene. This was very touching for the crew.
Appreciating this combination and tourism promotion, Mr. Pham Van Bay, Deputy Director of Vietravel Tourism Company, Hanoi branch, hopes that in the future, there will be more beautiful scenes in other localities of Vietnam appearing in famous MVs around the world.
By 2025, Quang Ninh province aims to welcome about 20 million tourists, including 4 to 5 million international visitors. According to Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, the MV “Victory-Bond in Vietnam” will not only realize the goal set by Quang Ninh province’s tourism but also contribute to making Ha Long Bay a destination, a tourist center of Vietnam, the region and the world.
“After its release, the MV will certainly attract the attention of local people, especially international tourists to Ha Long. We have developed plans to welcome visitors for each month and each quarter,” said Mr. Nguyen Lam Nguyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province.
