As in 2024, the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival is themed “Exploring Mountains and Seas”, featuring a giant dragon model as the mascot of the year, along with thousands of other landscape lanterns. During the 29th Cultural Festival, up to 200,000 visitors visited Yuyuan Garden every day, reaching 700,000 visitors during the Lunar New Year.
Notably, at the same time, Fosun Group also overwhelmed tourists in Paris (France) when bringing to the European capital of light 60 giant lantern clusters, 2,000 other lanterns from the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival. With the theme "Shan Hai Jing" inspired by ancient Chinese myths, Fosun turned The Jardin d'Acclimatation park into a colorful space to explore Eastern culture.
The attraction of this event is shown by the number of more than 4,000 visitors coming to The Jardin d'Acclimatation park every hour, forming a line of people stretching across two streets. "I haven't seen such a large crowd in many years!" - The President of the Jardin d'Acclimatation exclaimed on the first day of the exhibition opening.

After visiting the Lantern Festival, officials in charge of public spaces in several cities around Paris even expressed their desire to introduce the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival. Heritage blockbuster hits Vietnam for the first time
According to information from Vinhomes and Fosun, the Oriental Light Festival taking place in Ocean City will be a cultural exchange between Vietnam and China and many other Asian countries. Accordingly, the lantern masterpieces from Fosun will be designed according to the theme "Lingnan Chich Quai and Shan Hai Jing - Oriental Mysterious Creatures". Visitors will be able to enjoy the images of mysterious beasts from ancient books from the Warring States period of China, to the images of gods and monsters from records in Vietnamese folk literature.
The exhibition also brings familiar images in Eastern culture such as carp transforming into dragon, Bach Long, golden turtle, wood spirit... which are evidence of the history of cultural exchange between countries and ethnic groups.
Large-scale works of art such as Dong A Dragon Gate, Phu Tang God Tree, Kim Quy God, Hong Choi Xuan Snake… will revive the Eastern mythological universe, opening up an inspiring journey of cultural discovery for millions of visitors.

In particular, this lantern exhibition is just one of the fascinating discovery experiences of the Oriental Light Fest 2025. Organized to become the largest Spring Festival in Vietnam in Ocean City, coming to the metropolis from January 18 to March 16, visitors will be able to explore 580 unique events, shopping - culinary - entertainment activities lasting for 58 days.
In particular, visitors will be able to shop freely at the Ocean Spring Fair, which is the "best, most delicious and most Tet", including 3 main fair chains. In particular, for the first time, Giang Vo Spring Fair will return with the version of "4,000-year Tet, Tet of 5 kingdoms", bringing nearly 200 booths, not only reviving the ancient Vietnamese Tet culture but also introducing Tet culture from all over the world with specialties from China, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom and Turkey.
