Phu Yen commends 27 works at the 2022 Phu Yen Provincial Press Awards ceremony

The 16th Phu Yen Provincial Press Award in 2022 received enthusiastic response from journalists working at press agencies in the province, resident reporters... According to the Phu Yen Provincial Press Award Council, the quality of works participating in the 16th Provincial Press Award in 2022 has improved and is more consistent than in previous years.

The topics of the works are quite diverse, covering all fields of politics, economics, culture, and society; closely following current events, especially issues of social concern, many works on the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; fighting against false and distorted arguments...

Among these are excellent press works that have won awards at the National Radio and Television Festival, industry press awards and the Provincial Party Building Press Award.

Journalist Dao Pham Hoang Quyen, Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Press Awards Council, commented: "The above results show the efforts of the authors to explore and engage in the vivid reality of life, affirming the professional capacity and professional mettle as well as the journalistic ethics of the provincial press team."

According to the organizing committee, from 47 works eligible for the award, through the preliminary and final rounds, the Phu Yen Provincial Press Award Council selected 27 works to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for a decision to award the 16th Phu Yen Provincial Press Award in 2022, including 4 works winning A prizes, 7 works winning B prizes, 10 works winning C prizes and 6 works winning consolation prizes.

On this occasion, in order to express gratitude for their contributions to the development of journalism, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association decided to award the Medal for the Cause of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism to 7 individuals who are leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and journalist members. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit to an author and a group of authors whose works won awards at the 2022 National Radio Festival.
