Phu Yen - Bac Yen Electricity currently has 53.52% of customers paying their electricity bills without using cash. Thanks to that, it has reduced the pressure of collecting electricity bills for electricity employees, making it easier for people to pay electricity bills anytime, anywhere.
Mr. Hoang An Toan, Deputy Director of Phu Yen - Bac Yen Power Company, said: In addition to payment via banking services, the electricity industry also implements payment via customer care applications. Customers look up information on electricity bills, power outage schedules and report power incidents in a timely manner so that we can assign technical support. However, currently, fraud and property appropriation through electricity applications are showing signs of increasing. Therefore, we warn and guide customers to identify signs of fraud. Customers can call directly to look up electricity bill information, or check directly on the customer care application.
In Quang Huy town, most shops, businesses and consumers in the area use cashless payments. Ms. Le Thi Tham, a business owner in sub-area 2, Quang Huy town, shared: I run a fruit stall and have been using QR codes for 4 years now. I find that cashless payments are very convenient for managing the source of money for goods and payments from customers.
