Phu My: Support for construction protection of the project connecting the Western road to the coastal road

On the morning of July 18, the People's Committee of Phu My district and My Thanh commune supported the construction of the connecting road project from the western road (DT 638) to the coastal road (DT 639) of Phu My district (section passing through My Thanh commune). The connecting road project has a total length of 19.199 km (from Trung Hoi village, My Trinh commune to Hung Lac village, My Thanh commune).

The project started on May 19, 2022, and the contractor is implementing construction along the entire route. However, the final section of the route through My Thanh commune (section Km18+20 - Km19+199) with a length of 1,200m and an area of more than 30,000 m2 of 7 households did not demolish or move existing trees and crops on the land area that had been decided to be recovered, to return the site for project implementation. Previously, the Compensation and Site Clearance Council of Phu My district coordinated with the People's Committee of My Thanh commune to organize dialogues, mobilize, and persuade many times, but the above households did not agree to receive compensation and hand over the site, causing obstacles to the construction. The People's Committee of Phu My district organized support to protect the construction to ensure the progress of the project.
