Phu Luong: Construction of the first industrial cluster started

Delegates performed the groundbreaking ceremony of Yen Lac Industrial Cluster Project.

Yen Lac Industrial Cluster (IC) is the first IC in Phu Luong district established by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1586, dated May 19, 2021. The project has an area of ​​25.6 hectares, with a total investment of VND 265 billion. To implement phase 1 of the project, Yen Lac commune actively propagated and mobilized 110 households with land and assets on the affected land to agree and hand over the site.

According to the investor’s commitment, the Yen Lac Industrial Park Project will be built within 18 months from the commencement date. When put into operation, the Project will focus on attracting clean industrial production sectors, applying new technologies such as wood processing, textiles, footwear, etc.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Linh spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of Yen Lac Industrial Cluster.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Linh requested the investor to focus resources and complete the industrial park on schedule. The construction and operation process must ensure labor safety and environmental protection. He also expressed his hope that local people will continue to support the local government and investors so that the project can soon be put into operation, contributing to promoting socio-economic development.
