Tang Nhung household goods manufacturing facility in Trung Thuan 1 area creates jobs and income for many local workers.
From a family with difficult economic life and having to work for hire everywhere, in 2020, Mr. Phan Quang Tang (in Trung Thuan 1 area) decided to quit his job at an aluminum and glass manufacturing facility in Hanoi to return to his hometown to build his own business. With a sharp mind and 7 years of experience working for hire in a foreign land, Mr. Tang decided to invest capital to build a factory to produce stainless steel household appliances.
Visiting Tang Nhung Household Appliances Production Facility owned by Mr. Tang, we were amazed by the variety of designs and quality of stainless steel household products. Mr. Phan Quang Tang shared: “Understanding the current consumer preference for stainless steel household appliances, my family spent all our savings and borrowed more capital to invest in a production workshop with a scale of about 8 billion VND.
The investment capital is large because we have to install a modern machinery system to meet the production and processing process of stainless steel. Currently, the facility has launched about 40 product models made from stainless steel such as kitchen cabinets, tables, chairs, shoe cabinets, etc. Each year, the facility produces over 6,000 products, exported from North to South, deducting expenses, each year the profit is about 1.5 billion VND.
It is known that Tang Nhung household goods manufacturing facility is creating jobs for more than 10 local workers with an average income of 6-12 million VND/person/month.
Also starting from a poor household in the commune, however, now whenever mentioning Mr. Phan Quang Dai in Trung Tien 1 area, people around the area praise the young man who lost his father early, has grown up, become a good businessman, and built a spacious house. Having had to leave his hometown to work as a waiter in a restaurant for many years, Mr. Dai always longed for the day he would own a production facility. Learning from the media about the profession of making rolling doors that brings a stable income, he decided to go to the South to learn from experience.
From the rolling door manufacturing profession, Mr. Phan Quang Dai has contributed to the development of handicraft manufacturing in the commune.
In 2015, with knowledge in hand, Mr. Dai returned to his hometown to start a business. With the support of his brothers, friends and bank loans, he invested in machinery and equipment, a factory specializing in the production of Taiwanese rolling doors, Australian rolling doors, and German technology slatted doors. The products produced by his facility have beautiful designs, good quality, and reasonable prices, so he has built a reputation in the market.
With his industrious, hard-working nature and the will to become rich legitimately, up to now, Mr. Dai's family's rolling door production facility earns about 1 billion VND/year, creating jobs for 15 local workers with an income of 8-13 million VND/person/month.
The current handicraft production activities in Phu Khe commune mainly focus on industries such as mechanical manufacturing, carpentry, textiles, etc. with a total of nearly 90 establishments. In recent times, in order to create a stable and skilled labor force, vocational training associated with on-site job creation for workers has been of interest to the local government. The stable operation of woodworking, garment processing, and mechanical workshops has contributed to creating jobs for about 430 workers, bringing stable income, especially for female workers in rural areas.
Comrade Tran Van Toan - Chairman of Phu Khe Commune People's Committee said: "To promote the development of the handicraft sector in the area, contributing to the economic restructuring towards increasing the proportion of handicraft production value, in the coming time, the commune government will continue to pay attention to creating conditions for establishments to access preferential capital sources to expand production; continue to coordinate with all levels and sectors to pay attention to vocational training for rural workers to solve employment, contributing to sustainable poverty reduction".
