On February 12, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee held a conference to study, disseminate and implement the 2025 Special Topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle on strengthening Party building, implementing social progress and justice, and constantly caring for and improving all aspects of life of Ho Chi Minh City people".
Awareness and results are raised
Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Nghi chaired the conference. The conference was held in a combination of in-person and online formats at 390 locations with 28,267 delegates attending.
At the conference, Ms. Pham Phuong Thao - former Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, former Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council - presented the 2025 Topic. Ms. Pham Phuong Thao said that the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has led and directed the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the city to focus on mobilizing resources to take care of policy families, poor households, and people in difficulty with the motto "leaving no one behind". At the same time, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee agreed on the policy of promoting the development of social housing projects, ensuring social security and welfare. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has focused on leading and directing the implementation of job creation and vocational training for workers; training to improve the quality of human resources to ensure supply for the restructuring needs of sectors and fields oriented towards 2030.

Regarding implementation solutions, Ms. Pham Phuong Thao said there are two main groups of solutions. In particular, strengthen the implementation of Party building work in terms of politics, ideology, and ethics. Ms. Pham Phuong Thao emphasized that the successful implementation of the 2025 Topic will contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the year, the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Resolution No. 31-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of Ho Chi Minh City, Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 on piloting special mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, organize practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, the 12th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, the 14th Congress of the Party.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Van Khuyen deployed the Guidelines for implementing the topic of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2025.
Accordingly, Party organizations develop measures to improve the effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, focusing on strengthening Party building, implementing social progress and justice, and constantly caring for and improving all aspects of life of the people of Ho Chi Minh City. Identify key breakthrough contents, select a number of urgent and prominent issues and at least 2 key tasks at agencies, localities and units to discuss solutions, organize implementation, and create strong changes in the awareness and actions of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and workers.
