Chairman of the Trade Union of Dong Thap Industrial Parks and Economic Zones Nguyen Thanh Nhan received a symbolic plaque of contribution of over 52 million VND from the Trade Union of Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, many grassroots trade unions, such as: Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company's grassroots trade union, Lai Vung Co May Company Limited's grassroots trade union... called on union members, workers and laborers at the unit to respond and voluntarily contribute to support compatriots.

With the motto of promoting the spirit of “Mutual love”, the grassroots trade unions have called on union members, workers and laborers to voluntarily contribute at least one day’s salary to help people in flood-hit areas overcome the current difficult period. On the morning of the launch, units responded with a donation of over 300 million VND. This amount will be transferred to the accounts of the trade unions of industrial parks and economic zones in Dong Thap before being transferred to the authorities to support the people.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, in addition to mobilizing union members, workers, and laborers, many grassroots trade unions also have plans to mobilize business owners to participate in support. It is known that this campaign will take place from September 18 to October 5, 2024.
