(Dan Tri) - Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev outlined actions that could end the war between Moscow and Kiev.

In an interview with Al Arabiya news agency, Mr. Medvedev said the Russia-Ukraine conflict could be resolved without causing further human losses if NATO stopped supporting Kiev in the war.
He accused the US and other NATO countries of engaging in a full-scale war against Moscow after Western-made missiles were used to strike Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions.
According to him, the US-led military alliance was "fully involved" in the conflict in Ukraine.
Earlier this week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that in the worst-case scenario, the US would cut aid and Kiev would lose the conflict with Russia.
"If they (the US) cut off aid, I think we will lose. Of course, we will fight. We have our own production, but not enough to help us win," he stressed.
Therefore, he urged the US and its allies and partners to continue supporting Ukraine to achieve sustainable peace and ensure security throughout Europe.
On the other hand, Mr. Medvedev warned that Ukraine's use of long-range weapons to attack Russian territory would lead to a delay in possible peace negotiations.
"This will not be without consequences. This of course concerns the negotiations you mentioned, which are still very far away, and such events only delay them. But this also concerns the general situation," Medvedev replied when asked how Ukraine's use of long-range missiles would affect possible negotiations.
Russian officials stressed that although Russia has the ability to use nuclear weapons if necessary, there is no "lunatic" in the country's leadership who wants to do so.
In response to Kiev, Russia used its new Oreshnik hypersonic ballistic missile against Ukrainian targets. The Russian leader stressed that the West could face dire consequences if its provocative policy leads to further escalation of the conflict.
In addition, Mr. Medvedev emphasized the strategic importance of the Oreshnik ballistic missile, stating that this missile will change the situation of the conflict in Ukraine.
