A red car traveling at high speed is suspected of mistakenly pressing the gas pedal and crashing into two other vehicles, causing a chain-reaction accident on the road in Dong Nai, injuring at least two people.

This afternoon (February 17), the authorities of Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province are investigating and clarifying the cause of a series of traffic accidents between two cars and a bus.
According to initial information, at more than 11:00 a.m. the same day, a red car with license plate 60A-853.XX was traveling at high speed from Vincom Long Thanh shopping center to Le Duan street, Long Thanh town.
Then, this car collided with a white car with license plate 60LD-040.XX and bus route number 11 that was traveling on the road.
At the scene, the red car was dented in the front, crashed into a tree and then stopped. The white car was turned sideways, the front windshield was shattered, and both sides of the car were dented. The bus was also damaged in the front and had a broken windshield.
The accident injured at least two people and caused panic among many passengers on the car and bus.
Upon receiving the news, police quickly arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
According to security camera footage, the red car was traveling at high speed before the collision occurred.
"The red car rushed onto Le Duan Street without slowing down. The driver may have mistakenly stepped on the gas pedal," said a witness at the scene.
Due to damaged vehicles blocking the road, traffic through the area was locally congested.
