On the evening of May 12, a representative of Traffic Police Team No. 14 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) said that officers and soldiers of the unit coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hoang Mai District Police to direct traffic and extinguish a car fire on Ring Road 3.

Specifically, at around 9:30 p.m. the same day, a car with license plate 30E-970.XX was traveling on Ring Road 3, heading towards Thanh Tri Bridge (near Hateco Hoang Mai building) when smoke and fire erupted from under the hood. The driver managed to steer into the emergency lane, and the people in the car used a mini fire extinguisher to put out the fire but were unsuccessful.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hoang Mai District Police and Traffic Police Team No. 14 (Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) sent people and vehicles to the scene. After about 15 minutes, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force extinguished the fire.

Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties, but the car was burned down. The Investigation Team of Hoang Mai District Police is currently investigating the cause of the incident.
