Huong Thuy chose the medical field according to her family's wishes and pursued her own passion as a photo model.

Nguyen Huong Thuy (born in 2006, from Hai Duong) is gradually asserting herself in the "village" of photo models, while pursuing her education at Hai Duong University of Medical Technology.

Initially, Huong Thuy chose the medical field based on her family's wishes and realized the potential for development thanks to her good foreign language skills. She clearly understood her responsibility to contribute to society and considered the medical field as a path to do so. Huong Thuy shared: "At first, I chose to study medicine because it was an honor for my parents, and my foreign language skills were also quite good. This is a field of study that helps me discover a new aspect, is one of the most noble professions and also helps society a lot."

However, her passion for art and beauty prompted Thuy to explore the field of photo modeling. The "fate" came by chance in 2021, when she was a 10th grade student at Gia Loc High School. She still remembers clearly the moment when she received attention and had her first photo album, opening up her career as a photo model. At that time, Huong Thuy felt both happy and nervous.

Although she encountered many difficulties when she first started her career, Huong Thuy always tried to overcome them.

In the early days of entering the profession, Huong Thuy encountered many difficulties. Lack of experience, stiff posing skills, and unnatural expressions were the challenges she had to face. Huong Thuy confided: "From the very beginning, I was not able to pose well, my eyes were soulless, my body was not flexible and stiff."

But with the constant effort to learn and the dedicated help of photographers and makeup artists, Huong Thuy gradually perfected her skills. The initial salary was very modest, only 300,000 VND for a 7-8 hour photo session. However, Thuy was not discouraged but saw it as an opportunity to gain experience and improve herself.

Modeling has become an indispensable part of Huong Thuy's life.

Not only that, Huong Thuy also had to overcome her shyness in front of a crowd, practice her communication and expression skills to be able to confidently stand in front of the camera. She confided: "I used to stumble and feel very shy in front of a crowd, but now I can stand in front of the camera and speak fluently, expressively, and clearly."

Up to now, the photo model job has become an indispensable part of Huong Thuy's life. It not only brings a stable income but also helps her to improve herself, become more confident, as well as develop soft skills necessary for life.

Pressure from public opinion once caused Thuy to fall into a long crisis during her high school years. Huong Thuy longed to prove to her family and everyone around her that doing art is not bad and can be successful. She wanted people to have a more sympathetic view of the photo modeling profession in particular and art in general. And it was her passion for the photo modeling profession that helped Thuy recover her spirit.

She realized that this was her "best friend" that helped her improve herself and become more confident. From then on, Thuy focused more on studying and improving her foreign language skills to serve her work and prove to everyone that she could pursue her passion and achieve good results in her studies.

However, her mother's encouragement was also a great source of strength to help Thuy overcome difficult times. Her mother once told her: "I don't forbid you from doing anything, every decision is yours, right or wrong, useful or useless depends on how you choose and carry it out."

As a result, Thuy achieved 7.5 IELTS, was an Excellent Student in Chemistry at the City level, was an Excellent Student for 12 years, and passed the University entrance exam as she wished. At the same time, she gradually became more confident and professional at work.

Through this, Huong Thuy wants to tell young people: "Your parents gave birth to you, raised you and educated you to be a good person. Whether you become a good person and succeed or not is your choice. Don't miss the best opportunities because of gossip. You were not born to please everyone. You were born with the mission of being a useful person to your parents, to society and to yourself. Just try your best without stopping, you will succeed."

Up to now, Huong Thuy has convinced her family and proven herself right in pursuing her dream. The happiness of doing the job she loves is the biggest motivation to help her overcome all difficulties.

Entering the year of At Ty 2025, Huong Thuy feels more mature and has many plans for the future. She hopes to have good health to be able to achieve her goals. This year, Huong Thuy will try to build her personal image, develop and seek more opportunities in study and work.
