In early March 2024, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized a journey to red addresses, reporter activities, and provincial-level youth theory clubs in Dien Bien and Hung Yen provinces. The program was organized to contribute to educating revolutionary traditions and patriotism for Youth Union cadres and youth union members. |

It is known that 10 conical hats with pictures of famous landmarks of Nghe An were drawn and given by 3 art teachers: Ms. Le Tra Giang - Art teacher of Hung Binh Secondary School; Ms. Dinh Thi Nhan - Art teacher of Vinh University High School and Ms. Nguyen Thi Van - Art teacher of Nghi Duc Primary School before the delegation's journey to the red addresses. |
The themes chosen to draw on 10 conical hats are 10 special places associated with the people of Nghe An, including: Uncle Ho's hometown lotus village; Nghe An lotus flowers; Lam river and Hong mountain; Thanh Chuong district tea island; Tuong Duong sandalwood forest; Ky Son plum and peach forest; Vietnam - Laos border landmark; Vinh citadel gate, sunflower field... Traditional conical hats painted on landmarks and landscapes make them even more beautiful and impressive. |
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van - one of the three art teachers who drew the unique conical hats, said that it took the three of them about a month to finish drawing 10 hats, from coming up with ideas to sketching and finally drawing on the finished hat. "The most difficult part is drawing the place name because we have to find prominent places and then insert them. In addition, drawing on hats is more difficult than drawing on paper. Because the hat is a pyramid, the artist must visualize the 3D space and it is also difficult to express. When drawing, we have to arrange the layout reasonably so that when people look at it, they can recognize which place it is and where it is. Some drawings take us days and days to finish," Ms. Van shared. |
It is known that in the painting exhibition "Proud of a strip of mountains and rivers" at the Youth Month Launch Ceremony 2024 organized by the Central Youth Union at Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong, Nghe An) at the end of February, there were many paintings exhibited by Ms. Van's group. |
The conical hats with 10 prominent landmarks of Nghe An after completion were "taken to all directions" by the union officials, contributing to sharing the beautiful images of the beloved land of Nghe An to all regions of the country. |
