She gets involved in community activities, learns to play guitar, and develops a relationship with Dina (Isabela Merced). However, the arrival of Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), a survivor of the Salt Lake City massacre, threatens the peace of Jackson Hole. Abby is driven by revenge, and her presence raises questions about the line between justice and revenge, as well as what we do for ourselves and for others.

The season focuses not only on the conflicts between characters but also explores the post-apocalyptic world in greater depth.
