If CES is where the tech industry shows off its vision of the future, Computex is where it makes it happen. That’s why Computex in Taiwan is consistently considered the biggest and most important computer technology show of the year. Taiwan’s trade show is where computer vendors big and small show off their latest and greatest gear ahead of the crucial holiday shopping season.
Below are some notable products from the Computex 2023 exhibition that just took place in Taiwan.
MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport
MSI and AMG Motorsport collaboration laptop gets impressive launch event
MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport was officially introduced at Computex 2023 with a design inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT2 racing car. The exterior is covered in a Selenite gray color typical of Mercedes cars, the case uses high-grade aluminum-magnesium alloy, creating a luxurious appearance while optimizing the total weight of a 16-inch laptop.
The back of the machine has the word Stealth prominently displayed. The typical designs of Mercedes sports cars are applied to each highlight on the back cover and keyboard. The MSI and Mercedes-AMG logos are placed on the computer lid as well as the lower edge of the screen display area. The speaker membrane has the word AMG perforated, below is the Dynaudio 6-speaker system for high-quality sound.
The MSI Stealth 16 Mercedes-AMG Motorsport uses a 16-inch UHD+ (3,840 x 2,400) OLED display, runs on a powerful Intel Core i9-13900H Gen 13 chip and NVIDIA RTX 40 GPU. This configuration helps the machine easily handle heavy tasks and play high-end games anytime, anywhere.
Terra computer case from Fractal Design
Terra computer case impresses with Scandinavian interior design style
Terra is the latest mini-ITX case from Fractal Design, a product that possesses Scandinavian design characteristics of minimalism, convenience, modern beauty but still close to nature. The case is patterned and anodized, the door opens in a wing shape, the top panel can slide back and pop out with the help of a small piece of leather.
Measuring 343 x 153 x 218 mm, the Terra case is truly compact with a minimalist aesthetic and soft rounded corners.
BeeDrive Drive from Synology
BeeDrive from Synology helps back up and transfer images to storage devices
While the BeeDrive may look like a regular USB flash drive, Synology’s solution is unique in that it can perform backups on the fly. Plugged into a Windows computer (the company says it’s coming to macOS soon), users can then easily back up files from their smartphone to the BeeDrive by simply scanning a QR code.
With the accompanying application, users can also easily use the BeeDrop feature to quickly transfer photos from their phone to their computer via a wireless connection.
Acer Swift Edge 16
The Acer Swift Edge 16 features an ultra-thin and lightweight magnesium alloy chassis measuring just 12.95 mm thick, weighing 1.23 kg, and finished in a glossy black paint. It features a 16-inch 3.2K (3,200 x 2,000) OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, supporting 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and a response time of 0.2 ms. The TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified display also reduces blue light exposure for added comfort during extended viewing periods.

Acer SpatialLabs Panoramic View
SpatialLabs Panoramic View uses three 15-inch 3D monitors from Acer
Acer has been making glasses-free 3D laptop displays for a few years now, but apparently they weren't big enough. At Computex 2023, Acer showed off the SpatialLabs Panoramic View, which combines three 15-inch 3D displays together to create a giant 3D image. It was a fun experience for visitors who stood in the exact spot where the display projected the image, as the 3D image felt very real.

MSI has come up with a solution to last year's GPU cable burnout issue with a yellow connector cable on the new MAG A850GL power supply. They've changed the 12VHPWR connector to a bright yellow.
The yellow marking will act as a visual indicator to let the PC builder know if the cable is loose or may not be fully plugged in. The simple yellow cable of the MSI MAG A850GL can go a long way in helping people avoid problems in the long run.
Shark X and Sneaker X by Cooler Master
Cooler Master showcases two PC cases with impressive designs
In the PC case manufacturing field, Cooler Master showcased the Sneaker X, a case made in the shape of a trendy sneaker. The design of the Sneaker X was first displayed at the "Case Mod World Series 2020", an option for sneaker lovers to add a device to their collection.
Meanwhile, Shark X is a PC using a Mini-ITX motherboard shaped like a shark, which can be used with most popular GPUs on the market. The RGB lighting effect on this shark-shaped PC is created by the cooling fan and the Cooler Master 120 AIO Cooler water cooling system.
