Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809, the year of the Snake. He was the 16th President of the United States from March 1861 until his assassination in April 1865.

Lincoln is the most representative historical figure of the United States. He successfully led the country through a constitutional, military and moral crisis (the American Civil War), maintained the federal government, ended slavery, and modernized the country's economy and finances.

Former Chairman of China Mao Zedong was born in 1893, the year of Guixi. He was a great Chinese proletarian revolutionary, strategist and theorist. He was the founder of the People's Republic of China and Chairman of the Communist Party of China from its founding in 1949 until his death in 1976.
