Each person has their own thoughts and goals, but all are oriented towards the sacred mission to the country ahead.
Joined the army because of love for mother's green military uniform
Born into a family with a military tradition, Hoang Bao Ngoc is one of six female citizens who volunteered to join the army in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City. After completing her undergraduate degree at the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology, she asked her family for permission and wrote an application to voluntarily join the army to continue her family's tradition.
The impression of majesty that the military uniform brings always urges me to one day stand in the ranks of the Vietnam People's Army.

When asked why she volunteered to join the military, Bao Ngoc shared: "Since I was young, I had the opportunity to join my mother's unit. Living and experiencing, understanding a part of the military environment, my love for the green uniform of the soldier gradually grew. Every time I prepared the military uniform for my mother, I always wanted to put on her shoulder boards and military ranks, that always made me proud."
Working for many years at Security Group 2, Military Security Department, Ms. Dao Thi Huong, Bao Ngoc's mother, confided: "As a soldier, when my child was young, I often brought her along for convenient care. I am proud that my daughter is now following the family tradition. I hope that the military environment will continue to nurture and help my child become stronger."
