Dinh Thi Festival is held by Nhu Xuan district in the third lunar month every year to honor and commemorate General Le Phuc Thanh - who had the merit of reclaiming land, building villages and hamlets, bringing a prosperous life to the villagers.
In 2024, the Festival will be held from the 15th to the 16th of the third lunar month (April 23 to 24) at Dinh Thi Historical and Cultural Relic Site, Yen Cat Town.
Within the framework of the Festival, many special activities are organized such as palanquin procession, traditional rituals, and buffalo sacrifice.
The death anniversary announcement takes place on the afternoon of April 23 (ie March 15 of the lunar calendar); The buffalo offering ceremony takes place at 0:00 on April 24 (ie March 16 of the lunar calendar). On the morning of April 24, the procession of the sacrificial palanquin takes place according to traditional rituals from the communal house to the tutelary god's tomb and vice versa.
As for the association, there are a number of activities such as mass art performances, displays of local OCOP products, culinary competitions and sports activities.

Up to now, preparations for the festival have been basically completed. The Festival Organizing Committee has directed and assigned tasks to relevant departments, offices and member units to urgently complete the tasks.
The OCOP product display area, potential products of Nhu Xuan district, with 16 booths, is being urgently completed.
At the same time, the district focuses on doing a good job of propaganda on mass media and visual propaganda to widely promote the cultural and historical values of the Dinh Thi Festival in 2024.
