According to Associate Professor, Doctor - Musician The Bao, this year marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army. The 80-year journey of the Vietnam People's Army is once again resurrected through literary and artistic works that have accompanied the years, including music.

"Contained in each song and instrumental piece, I write about Uncle Ho's soldiers not only the value of music and art with ideology but also the proof of the indomitable, indomitable tradition of our ancestors in a time of war, which has a strong vibration for many generations of audiences. The program is an opportunity for me and my colleagues to review the heroic spirit of Uncle Ho's soldiers and transmit positive energy to today's young generation of composers. Let's write songs about soldiers with pride when living in a peaceful and developed country" - musician The Bao shared.

There have been thousands and tens of thousands of songs about Uncle Ho's soldiers born through two wars to protect the Fatherland. "Musician The Bao's music has captivated listeners because of the emotions he clearly expressed: the love between the army and the people is like fish and water, the sacred and noble love between comrades and teammates, the love for the homeland and country is always imbued in every melody and lyric" - Meritorious Artist - Master Anh Tuyet, Head of the Faculty of Vocal Music - Cinema, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, expressed.

Architect Nguyen Truong Luu - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Literature and Arts Associations, commented: "The image of Uncle Ho's soldiers has entered the music of musician The Bao in a natural, simple and always profound and poignant way. To this day, his unceasing creative spirit is still a source of abundant and endless emotions for him to contribute valuable works to the traditional revolutionary music scene."

Particularly in the music world, the authentic stories about soldiers in both wartime and peacetime that musician Thế Bảo put into his compositions have perspectives that bring special emotions to the younger generation. He has contributed to beautifying artistic values so that today's generation of artists, before the journey of cultivating the cultural industry, aiming to create a foundation for Ho Chi Minh City to integrate into the network of creative cities in the future, must always remember the generations of soldiers who shed so much blood for the country to have peace.
