* On the morning of May 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council supervised the implementation of socio-economic targets in Dien Chau district. Through monitoring, it was shown that Dien Chau district is forecast to have 27/32 targets achieved and exceeded the plan; of which, 9/10 economic targets, 13/14 cultural-social targets, 5/6 environmental targets and 2/2 national defense-security targets.
* On the morning of May 9, in Vinh city, the Nghe An province's New Rural Appraisal Council held the fourth vote to appraise communes meeting new rural standards at all levels in 2024. This time, 18 more communes met advanced new rural standards and model new rural standards.
