Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council: Approving the results of the examination of the contents submitted to the ninth session of the 17th Provincial People's Council

On the morning of December 9, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council met to approve the results of the examination of the contents submitted to the ninth session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVII, 2021 - 2026.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the conference.

Comrades: Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dang Thanh Giang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vu Ngoc Tri, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the meeting, representatives of the Economic - Budget Committee, the Provincial People's Council reported on the verification of the proposals: approving the list of works and projects requiring land acquisition in Thai Binh province in 2025; approving the list of projects that must change land use purposes with rice growing areas according to the planning in the province; requesting the Provincial People's Council to approve the resolution amending and supplementing the price list of land types for the period 2020 - 2024 in Thai Binh province, attached to Resolution No. 20/2024/NQ-HDND, dated August 29, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council; issuing a resolution to abolish Resolution No. 03/2018/NQ-HDND, dated July 12, 2018 of the Provincial People's Council regulating the collection of fees for protection and development of rice growing land in Thai Binh province; issuing a resolution stipulating the content and specific expenditure levels for local industrial promotion activities in Thai Binh province. Representatives of the Committee for Culture and Society, the Provincial People's Council reported on the examination of the following proposals: regulations on the content, level of expenditure for consideration and awarding of the Le Quy Don Award in Thai Binh province; promulgation of a resolution regulating the price of medical examination and treatment services for public health facilities in Thai Binh province; promulgation of a policy to support training and attract human resources for the health sector in Thai Binh province for the period 2025 - 2030; requesting the Provincial People's Council to promulgate a resolution amending a number of contents in Articles 5 and 6 of the regulations attached to Resolution No. 10/2024/NQ-HDND, dated June 27, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council. Representatives of the Legal Committee, the Provincial People's Council reported on the examination of the following proposals: promulgation of regulations on titles, regimes and policies for non-professional workers at the commune, village and residential group levels and regimes and policies for people directly participating in activities in villages and residential groups in Thai Binh province; Issue a resolution of the Provincial People's Council deciding on measures to ensure the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level in Thai Binh province.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, gave comments on the reports at the conference.

Leaders of the Legal Committee and the Provincial People's Council contributed opinions to the reports at the conference.

Also at the meeting, leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council reported on the work of advising and serving the session.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council unanimously approved the reports submitted to the ninth session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026; at the same time, he requested the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and branches to absorb the opinions of delegates attending the meeting, on that basis, edit and perfect to ensure that they are close to reality, strict, in accordance with the law, and after promulgation, they will be feasible and soon put into practice.

He emphasized that the ninth session is a regular session with many important contents, so the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council coordinated with relevant units to do a good job of preparing conditions to serve the session thoughtfully and promptly.
