The awareness and responsibility of the political system and the whole society regarding women's work have changed positively. Propaganda and education to raise awareness of gender equality are regularly given attention.

The proportion of women participating in Party committees at all levels, holding key positions in the province, district, agencies, departments, branches and unions is increasing, especially at the head and deputy head levels.
The effective integration of gender equality goals and targets into the province's socio-economic development plan has contributed to promoting the development of the fields of politics, economics, health, education, culture - information, sports, family, and strengthening national defense and security in the province.

Implementing the national strategy on gender equality, up to now, Nghe An province has had 20/24 targets of 6 goals of the 2021 - 2025 period achieved and exceeded the set plan, accounting for 83.3%.
In addition, after 9 years of implementing the 2014 Law on Marriage and Family, the legal system has been synchronized and gradually improved, effectively promoted, and positively contributed to the work of registration and management of civil status; creating a stable, unified, and long-term legal basis for the work of registration and management of civil status in the direction of gradually becoming professional and modern, ensuring convenience for the people.

With the above achievements, civil status work has made an important contribution to ensuring the implementation of individuals' rights and obligations regarding marriage and family through confirming civil status events regarding: birth; death; marriage; recognition of father, mother, child; guardianship...

Regarding policies and laws on marriage and family, the province has actively applied information technology to meet the digital transformation.

However, gender mainstreaming in legal documents is not clear; there are still problems with data collection; the number of female cadres holding key leadership positions has not met the target...
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Social Committee said that the survey team noted the province's recommendations and would report to competent authorities for consideration and resolution; at the same time, it requested the province to supplement information and data according to the outline; review the report to ensure accuracy, consistency and reasonableness.
