DTO - On the afternoon of August 2, the Security and Order Protection Council of My Long commune (Cao Lanh district) organized the "National Day for National Security Protection" in 2023.

Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen The Hong Trung awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to a representative of the People's Committee of My Long commune (Cao Lanh district) for his outstanding achievements in implementing the Movement "All people protect national security" in 2023.

Attending the festival were representatives of the Provincial Police, Cao Lanh District People's Committee; collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security...

Since the beginning of 2023, the Commune Police force, together with other sectors and organizations, have coordinated to propagate and mobilize people of all walks of life to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws. Thereby, the People have provided 29 reports to help the Police force handle 3 administrative violations, 8 subjects, transfer 8 cases, 17 subjects to the investigation agency; maintain the operation of 4 Civil Defense Teams with 29 members. In the first 8 months of 2023, the Commune Police force proactively coordinated with the Military force, Civil Defense Team to organize 175 patrols to ensure security, order, and social order and safety with the participation of over 1,000 officers, soldiers and militiamen. Thereby, 6 cases of traffic violations were detected and fined; 35 small-scale gambling dens were dispersed; 11 groups of young people gathered late at night, causing insecurity and disorder were dispersed; Reminder of sidewalk encroachment...

Recognizing the achievements in maintaining security and order, the Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the People and cadres of My Long commune for their outstanding achievements in implementing the movement "All people protect national security" in 2023. On this occasion, many collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Director of the Provincial Police Department and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Lanh district.
