March 21, Olympic Running Day for public health takes place

- On the morning of March 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a meeting to deploy coordination work to organize the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people in An Giang province in 2025.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Dao Si Tuan delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The 2025 Olympic Run for the Health of the People of An Giang Province will be held at 7:00 a.m. on March 21, in front of the statue of President Ton Duc Thang, Hai Ba Trung Square (Long Xuyen City), gathering nearly 2,000 participants.

This is an annual sports and physical training activity to celebrate major holidays in 2025; the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); the 79th anniversary of Uncle Ho's writing "Physical exercise and health" calling on all people to practice physical exercise and sports (March 27, 1946 - March 27, 2025) and Vietnam Sports Day March 27.

Thereby, encouraging the masses to actively respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", regularly participate in physical exercise and sports to improve health, improve physical fitness and stature, contributing to studying, working and producing; prevent diseases, improve the quality of life, human resources, build a healthy lifestyle and cultural environment, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.
