Timely prevention of 30 "speed demons" gathering to race on the highway

(Dan Tri) - Criminal police in Hau Giang have just successfully stopped a group of people driving large-displacement motorbikes, revving their engines, and speeding in a row on National Highway 61C.

On March 24, the Criminal Police Department, Hau Giang Provincial Police, said they had just stopped a group of young people who showed signs of gathering to race and cheer for illegal racing on National Highway 61C.

According to initial information, at 1:00 a.m. on March 24, through professional work, the police discovered over 30 subjects driving large-displacement motorbikes, revving their engines, and racing at high speed on National Highway 61C, Thanh Loi Hamlet, Hoa Luu Commune, Vi Thanh City.

The unit mobilized forces to organize the arrest of 6 subjects residing in Hau Giang and Kien Giang, along with 3 motorcycles that had been modified for racing and 2 cars to transport racing cars.

The case is being investigated by the authorities and working with the relevant groups to strictly handle it according to the provisions of the law.
