Vietnamese technology community mourns businessman Mai Trieu Nguyen

A source also confirmed to Tuoi Tre Online that businessman Mai Trieu Nguyen died after a period of treatment at a hospital in Australia due to an accident on March 5 (local time) in this country.

Mr. Mai Trieu Nguyen is a famous businessman in the Vietnamese technology industry with more than 20 years of experience in the phone business in the domestic market.

He is the founder and owner of the once famous Mai Nguyen Mobile chain of stores in Ho Chi Minh City.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Nguyen has turned his passion to vlogging with many videos of traveling by large-displacement motorbikes around the world. Many of his videos are loved by many friends and Vietnamese netizens.

On Mai Trieu Nguyen's social network, the most recent post he shared was on the morning of March 5 (Australian time) with the content: "Morning guys!", "In this video, we take a tour around Docklands, Melbourne. We test drive around, come back to Eagle Rider to adjust the car, eat and drink". He also introduced: "In the next video, we will leave Melbourne. Please watch for fun...".

Mai Trieu Nguyen was born in 1976. The accident occurred on the West Gate Highway, Melbourne, Australia at noon on March 5 (Australian time) injuring two people riding a large motorbike. Among them, Mai Trieu Nguyen was seriously injured.

The accident caused traffic chaos throughout Melbourne, with many major roads blocked.
