The development director of Stupor LLC, Vladislav Kustarev, said that the company took into account the basic requirements of the Russian Guards and the Russian Ministry of Defense to develop the unified system Stupor. The system is based on additional warning detection equipment, such as radar stations, radio frequency scanners, optical drone detection stations and UAV countermeasures such as jamming devices and coordinate falsification complexes.
Stupor LLC, using its own software, combines devices operating on different principles into one system, which helps to achieve higher reliability and minimize false alarms, said Vladislav Kustarev.

“The software uses artificial intelligence (AI), allowing Stupor to operate without the help of a system vendor. Event reporting and archive information can be downloaded directly to the phone. In addition, detection and countermeasures from other manufacturers can be integrated into our system,” said Vladislav Kustarev.
According to the development director of Stupor LLC, the use of systems such as Stupor is appropriate, because in practice, during the current Russian special military operation, infrastructure and military facilities in Central Russia are attacked by Ukrainian UAVs almost every week.
“Fuel and energy facilities have been equipped with fixed systems to detect and counter UAVs. In fact, the majority of UAV attacks occur at night, when it is difficult for the human eye to see flying objects in the sky,” added Vladislav Kustarev.
Referring to the tactical and technical characteristics of Stupor, Mr. Vladislav Kustarev noted that the Storm and Shtil complexes integrated into the system are capable of detecting and intercepting targets at a distance of more than 5 km. Meanwhile, the Pars defense system suppresses UAVs at a distance of up to 2 km.
Stupor LLC is a developer of drone detection and protection systems based in Russia. The core of the company are specialists from the federal installation company Wayfinder LLC, which has been integrating security systems for important Moscow facilities for over 20 years.
