Young man in Ho Chi Minh City was beaten by car driver

On July 11, a clip went viral on social media recording a young man being beaten by a car driver as he drove his car out of his house.

Through investigation, the incident occurred on the evening of July 8, on Street 9, Linh Chieu Ward, Thu Duc City.

According to the clip, at around 8pm that same day, the young man drove his motorbike out of the house and then went back in to close the door. When he was about to leave, a man in a car came by and honked, telling the young man to stop.

The man got out of the car and asked: "What's your attitude? What are you looking at?" The young man replied: "I just closed the door and ran away, what are you looking at?" At this moment, the car driver suddenly rushed in and hit the young man repeatedly in the head while he was still sitting on the motorbike. The entire incident was recorded by a resident's security camera.

Thu Duc City Police are coordinating with relevant units to verify and clarify the incident.
