Reuters news agency quoted two anonymous US officials as saying that the US military continued to conduct airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on the evening of January 12.
The latest US strike targeted a Houthi radar station in the capital Sanaa. US officials said it was a key target in the US military’s efforts to stop Houthi attacks in the Red Sea.
The incident came a day after dozens of strikes by the US-UK coalition on facilities belonging to the Iran-backed group.

According to Tass , the Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel also reported that US and British military aircraft carried out a new airstrike on Yemen's capital Sanaa.
He has yet to confirm involvement in the new attack.
Previously, the US and British armed forces conducted attacks by aircraft, ships and submarines on Houthi targets in several cities in Yemen, including Sanaa and Hodeidah.
The US military said it used more than 150 types of munitions to strike 60 targets at 28 Houthi locations.
The Pentagon said the US-UK strike had "degraded the Houthis' ability to conduct missile and drone attacks".
US President Joe Biden said the strikes were carried out in response to “unprecedented Houthi attacks” in the Red Sea.
The White House said that since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out last October, more than 50 countries have been affected by 27 Houthi attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.
The Houthis said the first US-British strike killed five fighters, and vowed to retaliate and continue to attack ships, actions they said were aimed at supporting Palestinians against Israel.
