A woman in the US had an extremely interesting shopping experience when she discovered a collection of expensive Hermes porcelain hidden inside a newly purchased cabinet.
According to the Daily Express, a woman has shared her surprise after finding a hidden treasure inside a piece of antique furniture she recently bought.
Amanda DeWitt from Texas, USA, made a TikTok video in which she shared her most recent purchase on Facebook Marketplace - a Louis XVI-era sideboard for a very attractive price, only one-ninth of the usual retail price.

When she brought the cabinet home and explored every corner, Amanda was extremely surprised to discover 13 Hermes' signature orange boxes and a Tiffany blue box stored inside.
Inside these boxes is a complete collection of Hermes porcelain, including large plates, small plates and dessert plates.
These Hermes porcelain plates are known for their intricate designs and high value. According to the Hermes website, each plate sells for between £115 and £375. This means that the collection Amanda found is worth thousands of pounds.
