A public high school in Ho Chi Minh City gives Tet bonuses of 20

On January 30, answering VTC News, Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuyen, Principal of Nguyen Khuyen High School, said that last year, thanks to thrift and reasonable spending policies, after setting up funds according to regulations, the school had 2,841 billion VND left to spend on additional income at the end of the year for 121 employees.

According to Mr. Tuyen, each teacher receives an additional income of 20 - 25 million VND, the difference is based on salary coefficient, position coefficient, and actual working time in the past year. Only one case received an additional income of more than 35 million VND, which is the Vice Principal of the school.

Previously, many high schools in the city also announced bonuses and additional income for teachers and staff during Tet.

Specifically, at Thanh Da High School, Binh Thanh District, the amount of Tet expenses for teachers from the year's savings has been approved. The highest person receives 25 million, the lowest 16 million.

According to information from Vinh Loc B High School, Binh Chanh District, the Tet spending level for each teacher increased by 3 million compared to last year. The lowest person is expected to receive more than 11 million VND, the highest about 14 million VND. In addition, according to internal spending regulations, all cadres, teachers and employees will receive a bonus of 1.5 million VND.

At Tay Thanh High School, Tan Phu District, from the annual savings, this year's Tet holiday the school spent more than 22 million VND to increase income for each teacher.

At the end of the year, teachers in Ho Chi Minh City often receive the following payments: Additional income according to the Resolution of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council; Tet gifts of 1.8 million VND/person from the city budget and a share from the school's annual budget surplus.
