DNVN - In 2024, Dai-ichi Vietnam's after-tax profit is estimated to reach more than VND 2,100 billion, contributing nearly VND 1,000 billion to the state budget.

Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company Vietnam has just celebrated its 18th anniversary in Vietnam, with positive business results in 2024 in a challenging market context. Total premium revenue is estimated at nearly VND 19,200 billion, market share is 13.1%; annualized new premium revenue is estimated at VND 3,550 billion, leading among foreign-invested life insurance companies in Vietnam.

Profit after tax is estimated at more than 2,100 billion VND, contributing nearly 1,000 billion VND to the State budget; total assets are over 75,000 billion VND, an increase of 13% compared to 2023.

Along with business activities, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam always focuses on fulfilling social responsibilities.

In 2024, the company paid insurance benefits to more than 370,000 cases with a total amount of up to 4,800 billion VND, bringing the total amount paid since its operation to more than 24,300 billion VND for more than 2 million cases. At the same time, the company has set aside a business reserve of nearly 50,000 billion VND to ensure future benefits for customers.

In 2024, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam has promoted technology innovation, invested in digital ecosystems, improved product and service quality to optimize customer experience: Dai-ichi Connect application with more than 1 million customers using, the rate of online insurance claim submission reached nearly 50%; deployed Dai-ichi Medic system to the entire partner network of over 300 hospitals/clinics, helping to shorten the time to process appraisal requests and guarantee hospital fees for customers; deployed Health Care calls after settling insurance benefits and received a customer satisfaction rating of 4.9/5*...

Along with business activities, Dai-ichi Life Vietnam always focuses on implementing social responsibilities. Through the For a Better Life Foundation, the Company has pioneered many meaningful community support programs and initiatives with a total contribution of over VND 76 billion across four areas: education, health care, environment and social charity over the past 18 years.
