Mo Cay Bac donated about 70,000ml of blood voluntarily

BDK.VN - On the morning of March 27, 2025, at the People's Committee of Phuoc My Trung town, the Hematology - Blood Transfusion Hospital (Can Tho City Department of Health) coordinated with the Steering Committee for Blood Donation in Mo Cay Bac district and the District Red Cross Society with 200 district, commune, and town officials, workers inside and outside the district to the People's Committee of Phuoc My Trung town to donate about 70,000ml of humanitarian blood.

Many officials and people in Mo Cay Bac district came to donate blood for the second time in 2025.

Mr. Hong Xuan Lam in Dong Tho hamlet, Vinh Hoa commune, Cho Lach district, born on June 5, 1983, said: “I have donated blood 7 times. Every time I donate blood, I feel healthy. The first time I donated blood, I was very scared, but then I got used to it. Whenever I see a blood donation, I volunteer to donate so that the hospital can take blood to save people.”

Vice Chairman of Mo Cay Bac District People's Committee Nguyen Trung Nghiep said: “This is the second voluntary blood donation campaign in 2025. Donating blood gives donors a sense of pride and happiness because their actions can save someone's life. Men from 18 to 60 years old and women from 18 to 55 years old can donate blood. The blood you donate is separated into many components according to the needs of the patient. Donating blood is a sign of good health and good blood quality. Each time you donate blood, the donor will be given a preliminary health check. I really appreciate and commend all those who donate blood to save others.”
