Di Linh District Medical Center was established in 1989. Overcoming initial difficulties, the Board of Directors and all staff of the Medical Center have united and made continuous efforts to gradually develop the Medical Center. From 2016 to present, Di Linh District Medical Center has achieved many remarkable achievements, contributing positively to the overall development of the district. The system of facilities, medical equipment and medical staff is increasingly consolidated and improved.

Up to now, Di Linh District Health Center has 4 functional departments, 10 specialized departments, 2 regional polyclinics, 19 commune and town health stations and 1 sub-station. The medical staff is cared for, supplemented annually and constantly improved in quantity and quality. Currently, the Health Center has 341 cadres, civil servants and workers, including 79 doctors. The center is fully invested with modern medical equipment such as ultrasound machines; hematology analyzers; automatic biochemistry analyzers; digestive endoscopes; ear, nose and throat endoscopes; cervical endoscopes; digital X-ray machines... to serve well the medical examination and treatment for the people.

The quality of medical examination and treatment at the District Health Center is increasingly improved. Medical examination and treatment are well implemented at all levels, without any professional errors, thereby creating trust with patients and the people. If in 2016, there were only 171,403 patients examined at the Di Linh District Health Center, by 2024, this number had increased to 292,592. Notably, in the past 10 years, the number of hospital beds has increased from 90 to 150, the hospital quality has reached 3.67/5 points - the leading unit in the province. The bed occupancy rate has reached 115.6%. The center also develops technical services in medical examination and treatment such as laparoscopic surgery to suture perforated stomach; laparoscopic appendectomy; laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal; laparoscopic ectopic pregnancy surgery...

With the motto of prevention is better than cure, preventive medicine work has always been focused on by Di Linh District Health Center through actively propagating health education for the people; strengthening disease surveillance from district to commune levels; fully preparing chemicals, medicines, and means in all situations when an epidemic occurs. In addition, expanded vaccination work has been directed and implemented in 19/19 communes and towns. The rate of children under 1 year old fully vaccinated with 8 types of vaccines reached 97.4%; the rate of pregnant women vaccinated with 2 or more tetanus doses reached 99.65%. At the same time, inspection and assessment work has been strengthened to ensure safety in vaccination, so there have been no cases of adverse events during vaccination.

In addition, the Center always promotes the consolidation of the grassroots health network, with an average of 5-6 staff members per health station. 100% of commune health stations have doctors; ensure adequate medicine, supplies, and chemicals for disease prevention and control and medical examination and treatment for the people. Strengthen the direction of the line, rotate doctors working at the health stations. Up to now, 100% of communes and towns in Di Linh district have met the National Criteria for Commune Health by 2030. The implementation of Project 06 has also been promoted and focused on by Di Linh District Health Center.
