Accordingly, VPF acknowledged the efforts of Viettel The Cong Club to ensure the good organization of past home matches. However, the field surface is still not guaranteed, because My Dinh Stadium has recently organized many events, combined with ineffective maintenance and repair of the field surface.

To ensure the quality of the field for the next matches, VPF requests that Viettel The Cong Club coordinate with the field management unit, temporarily suspend all activities on the field, and implement maximum measures to maintain and repair the field.
Previously, on the evening of March 30, The Cong Viettel Club had a match with Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club at My Dinh Stadium within the framework of the quarter-finals of the 2024/2025 National Cup. After the match, Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club head coach Le Quang Trai stated that the My Dinh Stadium was too bad, affecting the playing style of his players.
According to Mr. Trai, the bad pitch has caused many HA Gia Lai players to get injured, the most worrying of which is the case of Pham Ly Duc. This is a loss not only for Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club but also for the Vietnam U23 team when Duc is considered a promising name in the 2026 U23 Asian qualifiers and the 2025 SEA Games.
On the side of The Cong Viettel Club, Head Coach Nguyen Duc Thang also shared the same opinion when he assessed that the pitch was so bad that it negatively affected the team's playing style. "Today's My Dinh pitch was really bad, affecting both teams. Because the pitch was so bad, we had to adjust our tactics. Controlling the ball on My Dinh pitch was very difficult," Coach Nguyen Duc Thang of The Cong Viettel said at a press conference on the evening of March 30 after the match with Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club.
VPF is expected to re-evaluate the My Dinh stadium on April 3. Just two days later, The Cong Viettel Club will continue to have another match at My Dinh stadium when hosting Quang Nam Club in round 17 of V.league 2024/2025.
