Spain Striker Mason Greenwood, who was loaned by Man Utd to Getafe, scored a superb long-range shot in the match against Almeria in round 14 of La Liga on the evening of November 25.
The 22-year-old talent dribbled from the right wing into the middle, beat a defender and fired a left-footed shot diagonally. The powerful shot made the Almeria goalkeeper's diving effort only add to the beauty of the goal.

This move somewhat reminds of Greenwood's glorious days at Man Utd. Goal even said that this could be the best goal of the English striker's career.
Witnessing this shining moment of Greenwood probably made many Man Utd fans regretful. The 22-year-old striker was expected to make his first-team debut in 2018 after 11 years of growing up from Man Utd's youth academy. Greenwood scored 22 goals in 88 matches for Man Utd until January 2022, when he was suspended due to allegations of assaulting his girlfriend.
Greenwood was out for more than a year until February 2023, when the police dropped their investigation into him after witnesses withdrew. The 22-year-old striker was cleared of any wrongdoing. However, facing protests from fans and pressure from the women's team, Man Utd could not keep Greenwood, opting to loan him to Getafe in August.
Greenwood has struggled to find form in Spain, scoring four goals for Getafe in the 2023-24 season. His strike against Almeria helped Getafe draw 1-1 after Largie Ramazani had found the back of the net. Borja Mayoral then scored the winner to make it 2-1, completing a home comeback.
According to British media, it is unlikely that Greenwood will return to Man Utd. His current contract with the Old Trafford team expires in 2025, with an option to extend for another year. In the next match, Greenwood will play for Getafe against Las Palmas next Friday.
