In the 45+5 minute at Lyon, Yoro headed Manuel Ugarte's shot into the home team's net and helped MU level the score at 1-1. This goal helped Yoro become the youngest defender in history to score for MU in the European Cup (19 years and 4 months).
This was also Yoro's first goal for MU since the beginning of this season. Explaining why he didn't celebrate too enthusiastically after scoring, Yoro said: "I didn't enjoy that moment too much, this goal is quite normal when you haven't won. We want to win so this is not the time to celebrate."
Statsman Dave reports that Yoro has yet to be dribbled past in his last 12 games in all competitions. After a difficult start to the season due to injuries and needing time to adapt, Yoro has gradually won the trust of coach Ruben Amorim and is a regular for MU. He has currently played 23 games for the "Red Devils" in all competitions.

Against Lyon, Yoro had a good performance. He had a 100% tackle success rate, 93% pass accuracy, 1 timely interception and 1 shot blocking.
In February, Yoro revealed he was working with a personal analyst to help his development at United. He said: “I had a personal analyst at Lille and I continued working with him when I came to United. I paid special attention to movement, such as when the defender had the ball, when to run to receive a long pass or to receive the ball from a cross."
MU will have a rematch with Lyon at Old Trafford in the second leg of the quarter-finals on April 18. This weekend, the "Red Devils" will have a difficult away trip to Newcastle in the Premier League on April 13.
