Feast your eyes on the 3D mapping performance at the headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications

On the evening of August 26, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Information and Communications sector (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2024), the Ministry of Information and Communications organized a 3D mapping presentation and an exchange with civil servants, public employees and workers at the headquarters at 18 Nguyen Du (Hanoi).

The 3D mapping projection program was elaborately and magnificently staged, with the desire to create a new, unique, meaningful playground for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the information and communications industry.

10 traditional golden words of the IT&T industry are shown by 3D mapping technology

The total duration of the 3D mapping program at the headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications lasted for 9 minutes. The program included 3 segments. The opening part presented the historical story and core values ​​with 10 golden words "Loyalty - Courage - Dedication - Creativity - Compassion" traditional of the Information and Communications industry.

The second segment is a slideshow depicting the beauty of nature, the country and people of Vietnam. The presentation ends with the third segment, which has the theme of the innovative and future-oriented ICT industry.

After eye-catching performances combining music and light, the program received enthusiastic support from the leaders of the Ministry of Information and Communications and the participation of a large number of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the industry.

The person who made this idea come true is stage director Hoang Cong Cuong. He is also the author of many national-level art programs, including the impressive opening ceremony of the 31st SEA Games, or most recently the program of showing the painting "Dien Bien Phu" using 3D technology through a panoramic projection wall at the Martyrs Monument (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi).

The production team spent more than a month 3D scanning the entire building of the Ministry of Information and Communications headquarters, and at the same time searching for materials to stage the program. With his love and commitment to the Information and Communications industry, director Hoang Cong Cuong sponsored the entire cost.

The 3D mapping display was made using 6 Christie projectors. This is a model that has been used to project at many iconic heritage buildings around the world.

Sharing at the screening, director Hoang Cong Cuong said that this is a special gift created from the passion of the entire team and the Office of the Ministry of Information and Communications, to give to civil servants, public employees, and workers on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Information and Communications industry.

According to director Hoang Cong Cuong: “This is the first time a state agency has used 3D mapping technology to sequence the formation and development process of its unit. In the future, this technology can also be applied to promote Vietnamese heritage and culture to the world.”

The 3D mapping projection program at the headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communications is a practical and meaningful activity to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Information and Communications industry.

This is not only an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of the Information and Communications industry and pay tribute to previous generations, but also an opportunity for officials, civil servants, public employees and workers to meet, exchange, strengthen solidarity and work together to build an increasingly developed industry.
