The Vietnamese Family Shelter continues its humanitarian journey in the Central region for 3 days, December 13, 14 and 15. The program has the participation of many famous artists to support 18 orphaned children in difficult circumstances or orphaned due to the recent Trami storm and flood.
In recent times, the Vietnamese Family Home program with the mission of “sharing happiness with the community” has left many impressions on the public. With the desire to help many children in difficult circumstances, lacking family affection, the program has made a non-stop journey across the country.
Everywhere the Vietnamese Family Home stops, the program receives a lot of love from local audiences. People not only come to watch live and support the program, but are also willing to spend money with the desire to "save small amounts to make a big amount" to help share the difficulties of the characters.
With what it has achieved, Vietnamese Family Home has not only won the hearts of television audiences but also many young audiences on social media platforms who are "die-hard fans" of the show. "Vietnamese Family Home" has brought tears to millions of viewers when it depicts the heartbreaking stories of children who lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and now children who suddenly lost their loved ones after storms Yagi, Trami, etc. But those are also tears of happiness when the families of the children win after each episode.

In the second half of 2024, our country was heavily affected by bad weather. Right after storm No. 3 (super typhoon Yagi) made landfall in the North, storm No. 6 (typhoon Trami) also made landfall in the Central region of our country in October 2024, causing many serious impacts, leaving extremely heavy damage to people and property. Among them, many families lost loved ones, leaving many children orphaned. The sudden loss of parents due to natural disasters caused children to lose their support both materially and spiritually. Many children almost collapsed because of the sudden loss of love, and their families also fell into difficult and deprived circumstances.
In order to spread love, share the loss as well as encourage the spirit of orphans in the Central provinces, the Vietnamese Family Shelter decided to choose Dong Hoi City , Quang Binh Province as the next destination of the journey. Here, the program will have 3 days of filming from December 13-15 to help 18 situations and spread love in 5 provinces including: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Thua Thien Hue. The program's Organizing Committee will start accepting applications to introduce characters in the above 5 localities from November 15-30, 2024.
The Vietnamese Family Shelter program targets children aged 10-16, who are students of primary, secondary or high schools with good academic performance and good conduct; orphans (who have lost a parent or both parents) who are in difficult economic circumstances, whose housing conditions are degraded or have been affected by recent storms and floods; children who are in good health, with priority given to gifted children; whose circumstances have been confirmed by the local authorities.
After coming to the program and overcoming the challenges, the children and their families will receive valuable money to improve their lives.
To prepare well for the filming of the program Vietnamese Family Home , the People's Committee of Quang Binh province had a meeting with the sponsor Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company and the main production unit Bee Media Company. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province. Also attending were representatives of leaders of relevant departments and branches.
At the meeting, Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan, highly appreciated the humanity of the program "Warm Vietnamese Family", expressed his joy when Hoa Sen Group chose Quang Binh as the location to organize the program. The Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee hopes that through the program, love will be spread to support and help children in especially difficult circumstances, especially children affected by the recent storm Trami.
Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan directed relevant departments and branches to propose students to participate in the program, and coordinate with Bee Media Company to conduct a survey of the actual circumstances of the students. At the same time, localities coordinate to create favorable conditions for security, order, health, propaganda, visual encouragement, mobilization of forces, student management, and related facilities and logistics so that the filming unit can organize the program in December 2014 in the best way.
After more than 2 years of broadcasting, the program has produced 116 episodes, supporting 348 families in difficult circumstances, including many families with 4-5 orphaned children, lacking the love of their parents.
The total value of the prize money given by Hoa Sen Group is more than 11 billion VND. With the support of 230 guests who are famous artists, beauty queens, and athletes from many fields. The amount of money that the guests, sponsors, and local audiences watched, supported, and gave directly to the orphans is nearly 6 billion VND.
In addition, sponsors such as Hoa Sen Home Construction Materials and Interior Supermarket System (Hoa Sen Group) and Hoa Sen Plastic Pipe - Source of Happiness also have post-recording support activities such as repairing houses, building new toilets, and re-roofing for disadvantaged families. Since then, the program has spread the values of love, becoming a bridge between children in difficult circumstances and supporting units, sponsors, and artists to help them have a better future.
The program Vietnamese Family Home airs at 8:20 p.m. every Friday on HTV7 channel.
