Attending and delivering a welcome speech at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture and Ho Chi Minh City University of Physical Education and Sports, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong sent his warmest regards and best wishes, as well as deep gratitude to the teachers with the glorious and noble mission of "cultivating people".

In his congratulatory speech, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong affirmed the extremely important role of education in general: "For the benefit of ten years, we must plant trees; for the benefit of a hundred years, we must cultivate people". In 1982, the Council of Ministers (now the Government) issued Decision No. 167-HDBT officially choosing November 20 as Vietnam Teachers' Day. This is a holiday of the Education sector and Teachers' Day, with the aim of honoring those working in the sector. This demonstrates humanity, in line with the fine traditions of our nation, a nation with thousands of years of civilization and a tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers of our Vietnam.
