(Dan Tri) - Musician Luu Thien Huong said that this is the first time she has accepted to sit in the "hot seat" of a singing talent search program with contestants up to 60 years old.
On March 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing committee of the "Global Vietnamese Singing Contest 2025" held a press conference to launch season 3. This is a playground to find good voices for Vietnamese people around the world.
This year, the contest expanded the age range of contestants from 15 to 60 years old, which was also a difficult problem for the judges. Musician and music producer Luu Thien Huong - a member of the jury - said that this was the first time she had accepted to sit in the "hot seat" of a program with such a wide range of contestants.
When asked if Luu Thien Huong would give her students preferential treatment if they participated, the female artist said: "Any profession can "cheat" but this one is impossible, because no matter how much talent you have on stage, it will all be shown.
And if it was my student, there would be other judges besides me to evaluate. I cannot and will not go against professional ethics."

According to the organizers, the contest is a place for contestants to indulge their passion for singing, both showing off their talents and honoring values imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity.
The competition consists of 4 rounds: Preliminary, Semi-final, Final and Final ranking. The final ranking night is scheduled to take place on October 18 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (Hanoi).
The organizers will award one champion and two runner-up prizes for three main music genres: Romantic, Folk - Red Music and Light Music.
