Long An: Happy Mid-Autumn Festival with practical gifts

The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations - Southern Representative Office has just coordinated with the Union of Friendship Organizations of Long An province to organize the program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2024" in Tan Tru district and Tan Thanh district, Long An province.

A district in Long An is preparing to invite investment in two social housing projects worth more than 7,600 billion VND.

Mr. Huynh Van Quang Hung was elected Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Long An province.

The program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2024" is an opportunity for children to interact, play, entertain, exchange learning and practice harmonious development; contributing to creating conditions for children to have a warm, joyful, healthy and happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

At Duc Tan Commune People's Committee, the main program took place with the participation of over 40 children and brothers and sisters of Phu Nhuan District Children's House, Ho Chi Minh City, bringing attractive and fun singing, dancing, magic, lion dance performances... The sponsor presented 500 gifts, including: 50 "Go to school with me" gifts including backpacks, notebooks, school supplies; 10 scholarships, each worth 500 thousand VND in cash; 450 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts for children in Duc Tan, Nhut Ninh, Binh Lang communes, Tan Tru district and Nhon Hoa commune, Tan Thanh district, each gift including lanterns, moon cakes, milk... The total value of the gifts was over 86 million VND.

Speaking at the program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2024", Deputy Head of the Southern Representative Office - Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations - Tran Hoang Khanh Van thanked the local leaders for their attention to creating a useful playground for children. Ms. Tran Hoang Khanh Van also wished the children to always be good, obedient to their grandparents, parents, and teachers, study well, and develop.

In Nhon Hoa commune, Tan Thanh district, the program also took place with the participation of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council Nguyen Tri Dung; Chairman of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Long An province Nguyen Huu Ngoc; commune leaders; parents and 200 children who are students of Nhon Hoa Kindergarten and Primary School. The children participated in the lantern making contest, performing arts... creating a fun, exciting and useful atmosphere.

The program "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2024" has practical meaning, aiming to encourage children to be good, study well, do many good deeds, become good children, good students, worthy of being Uncle Ho's good children and have a joyful and happy Mid-Autumn Festival.
